Clap Your Hands

Catchy as it is, that song can really grind my gears sometimes. Here's the problem: when I'm happy, I'm totally down for some epic hand-clapping fun; but when I'm all down-in-the-dumps, I'd probably rather overtrim my big toenail than get up and applaud. And let's face it, getting yourself (or someone else) out of a funk is more difficult than keeping Charlie Sheen lucid enough for an interview.

So, if you're happy and you know it...don't gloat. You make the rest of us feel even worse. 

As Tipper asks in the 2008 rom-com What Happens in Vegas (and don't act like you didn't see it and tear up when those crazy kids worked it all out. Oops...spoiler alert) asks "If you were miserable and you wanted to get happy again, where would you go?"

Answer: Here. You would go here. Because there's a whole lot of sadness in the world and now we're gonna fix it. You're welcome.
